The colors of this photo had shifted over time to an almost uniform reddish cast. Simple color correction restored enough color to envision what the original must have looked like (the left half of the photo). The rest had to be painstakingly restored - pixel by pixel. Unfortunately, details of the head of the merry-go-round horse were too washed out to restore authentically and were enhanced with portions of stock photography.
